Romsey is a small market town in the south of Hampshire.
The Romsey sky line is domianted by Romsey abbey. The abbey dates back to the 12th centry and is the burial place of Lord Mountbatten. The Lord Moountbatten home Boradlands is on the edge of the town, and may a show is hosted with in it's grounds.
There is a book written about Romsey called "He's so drunk he must have been to Romsey" as at one point Romsey had more pubs per head of population than any other palce in the UK. Its a very intreasting read, but alot of the pubs have now closed down.
